History

LaSilkee Virtual Connexion Inc. was established in 2003 in the United Kingdom, as an integrated communications service provider offering high quality, voice, data and multimedia services.

LaSilkee has started its operations by providing inbound international services. Through leveraging operational efficiency and exploiting the inherent technical advantages of VoIP, LaSilkee started offering its inbound services to the UK & Iraqi market, and is currently operating a network providing voice termination services to global operators.

Through its existing operations, LaSilkee has established business relationships with major global carriers and traffic exchanges.

In 2005, and following the liberalisation of the telecommunication market in Jordan, LaSilkee has applied for a class license and was granted the first Class License by the Jordanian Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) on the 22nd of June 2005.

LaSilkee is planning to aggressively enter the retail & wholesale market for international voice, data and multimedia services in Jordan through a portfolio of advanced products and services.

LaSilkee is also working on extending its existing operations and business relationships all through out the region.
